The requirements for all translators working for our firm are governed by our customers' high expectations. The minimum requirement is a university education (degree in translation, degree in specialist translation). Furthermore, our experienced linguistic experts thoroughly test the candidates' language and technical skills for their suitability for LÓPEZ-EBRI®.
If a candidate proves to be suitable for one or more fields on the basis of his/her qualifications and special skills, he or she is given a grounding in all work processes at our firm. The completed translations are carefully proofread by our senior translators. A feedback process pinpoints improvements, which initiate the specialist translator in the stringent linguistic requirements of LÓPEZ-EBRI®.
LÓPEZ-EBRI® sets great store by the continuous further training of all staff, who deepen their specialist and technical skills through training programmes, and specialise in our customers' individual fields.
In line with our quality management system all staff undergo regular assessment.
For our translators, in real terms this means ongoing documentation of their work by our proofreaders. This documentation contains detailed notes on the quality of the translations, and also regarding the subject areas and writing skills such as consistency of terminology and style.
