LÓPEZ-EBRI completes successful recertification
For the sixth time, LÓPEZ-EBRI GmbH has received certification to the ISO 9001 Quality Management standard, in the latest version ISO 9001:2008. The independent audit was conducted by DQS (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Qualitätssicherung, Frankfurt). The DQS auditors certified that LÓPEZ-EBRI not only fulfils all the requirements of the standard without a single non-conformance, but also implements measures that far exceed the specifications of ISO 9001 in the interests of quality assurance and customer satisfaction. The auditors were particularly impressed by the technologies employed on a daily basis in order to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction. The Project Tracking Tool is a good example. It enables customers to check the progress of the work they have commissioned whenever they wish – online and in real time. The internal knowledge database used by the translators, proofreaders and project managers at LÓPEZ-EBRI to access the latest information required for implementing the translation projects was judged to be unique in the industry.
The successful and unconditional recertification to ISO 9001:2008 following this audit comes as no surprise in view of the company's track record. LÓPEZ-EBRI is also certified to the DIN EN 15038 "Translation Services" standard, which was established in 2006. LÓPEZ-EBRI was the first translation company in Europe to achieve the distinction of this dual quality certification.
