The prices we quote for our professional translations are based on the following criteria:
The key factor is the languages you require. Translation prices for widely used languages such as English, French, Spanish and Italian are lower than for those in lesser demand, such as Ukrainian, Finnish or Estonian.
Unusual language pairs (source and target languages), e.g. Romanian-Danish, are also reflected in the translation price.
The degree of difficulty of the particular text also has a bearing on the price, as it affects the time required for research and expert review.
With regard to the quantity of text in a document, it is not the number of pages that matters, but rather the actual word or line count (standard line = 55 characters, incl. spaces), which is determined using a special software tool. With the aid of the latest translation memory systems, we are able to identify any text repetitions, both within a single document and between two or more documents. On this basis we accord our customers corresponding discounts. This is a major advantage for you, especially when it comes to updating existing translations.
For extremely tight delivery deadlines that demand night-time or weekend working, for example, we apply a surcharge which is stated separately in the quotation for your translation project from the beginning.
Send us your project by email or via our Quotation Form, and we will respond very quickly with a clear and meaningful quotation as a reliable basis for your decisions.
